A New Blog by a CoP member: Disability Info and Insight

I'm very happy to announce that a new blog was recently launched into cyberspace by a fellow member of the Early Childhood Family Support Community of Practice (CoP).  Cnoe has been a wealth of insight and information in our CoP discussions, so I highly recommend checking out his blog.

His first post "Where we are" responds to a question I borrowed from Dr. Martin Luther King in another blog post  "The Wisdom of Martin Luther King and Disability Equality."
His second post, Highly Qualified Teachers, discusses in plain language the often confusing requirement for schools to hire instructors who meet the 'highly qualified' standard.
Like me, Cnoe is new at this blogging business, so be sure to give him
suggestions and feedback.
Better yet, teach by example. Tell us about your own disability blog
or start one. If you want help, I'd be happy to get you started.

I'm a fellow disability blogger lurking in the wings. I think the blogosphere is a wonderful place to share the disability experience with each other and with the uninitiated. I am glad others feel the same way and are adding to the conversation!

Matt,
Thanks for your comments and encouraging people to give me feedback. I certainly want and need it. Also add your comments at the bottom of posts and suggestions for postings.
Also consider doing a blog. Matt was a huge help. If I can do it, anyone can. You also might want to consider encourage a young person or young adult with a disability in doing one. Or if someone wants to post something, but not do a blog, let me know and I will consider posting it on my blog.

Thank you Terri, Cnoe, and Simmsie!

Terri--could you give us a link to your blog? I would love to check it out.

Simmsie--I'll add a link to your blog to the sidebar. Exchanging links is a good way to bring more people in to our little corner of the blogosphere

To all--thanks again, and to second cnoe's comment, if you know anyone who wants to join us I will be happy to set the blog up for them.
